UNIT 5: The frozen lake

Hello kids!!

For this unit I uploaded two videos:

The first one deals with the main vocabuary: actions related with winter carried out when we are speaking (now).

The second video is about opossite characteristics:

- fat and thin  
- short and tall
- clean and dirty

Although it can seem a lot, we are going to work on them on the class. So, you only need practise and enjoy ;)

UNIT 3. Maps

Hello kids!! 

In Social science we are dealing with the seven continents. With the purpuse of helping you review, I included two videos about this topic:

- the first one is an explanation about continents and oceans.

- the second is a song that will help you memorize the name of the seven continents in English (but remember that there are only six in Spanish)

- the last video reviews some key words about maps.

En ciencias sociales estamos trabajando los siete continentes. con el propósito de ayudaros a repasar, he incluido dos vídeos sobre este tema:

- el primero explica los continentes y los océanos 

- el segundo es una canción que os ayudará a memorizar el nombre de los siete continentes en inglés (pero recordad que hay solo seis en español).

- el último vídeo repasa el vocabulario más importante que encontramos en un mapa.

En esta unidad estudiaremos el asombroso Sistema Solar. Ya sabemos los nombres de los ocho planetas en español, pero ahora es el momento de aprendérselos en inglés y ordenados.

También sabemos un montón de cosas sobre el sol y la luna, pero estos divertidos vídeos nos ayudarán a entender mejor estos cuerpos celestes.
